What our community is saying

Real experiences from members and clinicians on the MyPeptide platform.

I was nervous about starting a program online, but the process here made me feel safe every step of the way. My clinician walked me through everything and my first shipment arrived in two days. Three months in and my knee recovery has been a total game-changer.

The convenience alone is worth it. No waiting rooms, no insurance hassles. I submitted my consult on a Sunday night and had approval by Monday afternoon. Semaglutide has been transformative — down 28 lbs in four months.

I love that everything is in one place — my intake, messages with my provider, order tracking. The Essentials plan is super affordable and I got exactly what I needed. Already recommended MyPeptide to three friends.

MyPeptide gives me the flexibility to practice on my own schedule while still making a meaningful impact. The platform is intuitive, the patient charts are thorough, and I can review consults between my in-office patients. The per-consult comp is very competitive.

I was looking for a telehealth side practice that didn't require me to manage billing or scheduling. MyPeptide handles all of that. I just review charts, approve protocols, and get paid. The onboarding took less than 48 hours and I was seeing patients by the weekend.

FAQ

Frequently asked

How telehealth with Doc-Rx works, how your clinician relationship is set up, and how your information is protected.

Clinician Relationship

Who is my clinician?
After you submit your intake, you're matched with a US-licensed clinician credentialed in your state. You can see your assigned clinician's name, credentials, and licensing states inside your portal. If at any point you'd like to switch clinicians, you can request a reassignment through the portal.
Are Doc-Rx clinicians licensed in my state?
We only accept patients in states where we have a clinician licensed to practice. Your state is verified at signup; if we can't serve your state yet, the signup flow will tell you before you pay for anything.
How do I message my clinician?
Secure in-portal messaging is included with every plan. Clinicians typically reply within one business day. For anything that can't wait — severe symptoms, new allergic reactions, chest pain, signs of stroke — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room rather than waiting for a reply.
Can my primary care provider access my Doc-Rx record?
Yes. You own your medical record. From your portal you can download a summary of your visits, labs, and prescriptions, or request that we send it directly to your PCP or specialist. We'll never send records to third parties without your written authorization.

Getting Started

How does Doc-Rx telehealth work?
You complete an online intake that captures your health history and goals. A US-licensed clinician reviews everything through our secure portal, messages you with any follow-up questions, and if clinically appropriate writes a prescription that ships from a partnered pharmacy. There's no waiting room, no scheduling call — all care happens in the portal on your schedule.
Do I need to see a clinician in person?
No. Doc-Rx is an asynchronous telehealth platform. Licensed clinicians review your intake, communicate with you through the portal, and issue prescriptions entirely online. A video consult is offered when your clinician feels one is clinically useful, but it is not required for most care plans.
Who is Doc-Rx for?
Adults in the United States who want structured, clinician-supervised care without the overhead of traditional office visits. Our clinicians treat routine wellness, weight management, recovery, and hormone-health concerns within the scope of their license. Emergencies, acute injuries, and in-person exams should go through your primary care provider or local urgent care.

Payments & Insurance

Do you take insurance?
Doc-Rx is a cash-pay telehealth service — we don't bill insurance directly, which keeps pricing transparent and visit times predictable. You can request an itemized superbill from your portal and submit it to your insurer for possible reimbursement; most HSA and FSA accounts are accepted at checkout.
What do visits and memberships cost?
Membership includes unlimited secure messaging with your clinician and ongoing protocol review. Current pricing is listed on the Plans page. Prescriptions (when issued) are billed separately through the pharmacy at the published price — no surprise fees.
Can I use an HSA or FSA card?
Yes. HSA and FSA cards work for consult fees, membership dues, and prescription charges at checkout. If your card requires an itemized receipt, your portal can generate one on demand.

Privacy & HIPAA

Is Doc-Rx HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. The Doc-Rx platform is built on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. All protected health information (PHI) is encrypted at rest and in transit, access is logged, and only your care team and authorized platform operators can view your record. Our vendors who touch PHI (pharmacy, hosting, payment processor) sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).
Who can see my medical information?
Your assigned clinician, any clinicians who cover for them while they're out, and a small number of platform administrators who support billing and technical issues. Your information is never sold, never shared for advertising, and never shown to any third party without your authorization.
Does Doc-Rx sell or share my data?
No. Doc-Rx does not sell patient data to anyone. We do not share PHI with marketers, data brokers, or insurance companies. The only entities that see your PHI are the ones directly involved in delivering or billing for your care, and only the minimum necessary to do their job.
How do I request my full medical record?
From your portal's Account page, open Records and click Request Full Record. We'll compile the complete export (intake, messages, visits, prescriptions, lab results) and email it to you within 10 business days, at no charge. You can also request it be sent directly to another provider on your behalf.

Safety

Is telehealth safe for my condition?
Telehealth is a safe option for many routine and chronic conditions that don't require a physical exam. Your clinician will tell you if they believe you need in-person evaluation or a referral. For emergencies — chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe injuries, signs of stroke — call 911 or go to your nearest ER. Doc-Rx is not a substitute for emergency care.
What if I have a bad reaction to a prescription?
Stop the medication and message your clinician immediately through the portal. For severe reactions (difficulty breathing, facial swelling, hives, chest pain, confusion), call 911 or go to the emergency room. After you are safe, message your Doc-Rx clinician so they can update your chart and coordinate follow-up.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Memberships are month-to-month and cancel anytime from your Account page. You keep access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Active prescriptions continue to fill per your clinician's orders until you pause or cancel the prescription itself.
